Ela Tenacha is located in the heart of Ethiopia, nestled within the hills of Yirgacheffe county. The area has a rich and fertile soils, nurtured by gentle rains. It is known for their exceptional coffee production.
In 2021, Ashebir and Ashenafi founded a washing station in Ela Tenacha. Not only that they care about the coffee processing, but they also ensure that the farmers received fair compensation for their hard work, fostering a sustainable and prosperous future for their community. They established this venture as Ela Tenacha Coffee Washing Station, to honour the village where the coffee comes from.
In the cup, this coffee tastes like red apple and mandarin, with chamomile tea finish.
