Notes of orange and raisin, with vanilla undertones.
Origin: China Alta, Tolima, Colombia Varietal: Caturra, Colombia Process: Washed
This microlot was produced by Julio Soscue Villada and his family on their 4-hectare farm, La Providencia (meaning “the providence” in Spanish). Julio farms his coffee with traditional techniques and most of the labour is provided by him and his family. Fertilisation occurs around three times a year, usually after manual weeding, and pesticides are rarely used. The cherry was processed using the washed method and because of the cooler climate in China Alta, coffees are fermented for longer than usual. In the cup, this coffee tastes like orange and raisin, with vanilla undertones.
We roast every Wednesday and ship every Thursday.
