Built in 2021, the Yaye Washing Station is focused on quality and experimental processing. The Odakko Project was developed over four years, as a collaboration between Testi Coffees and Cafe Imports, to produce a traceable, single-variety coffee from 50 smallholders in the Yaye and Chericho villages.
Cherries of the 74518 variety were harvested between 2,150–2,300 MASL and processed under strict cleanliness standards using potable water and sanitised equipment. Cherries were harvested following strict criteria, dried slowly under shade for 28 days, and rested before milling in Addis Ababa. The project also supports community initiatives in education through its premiums.
In the cup, this coffee tastes like blueberry and peach jam, with orange blossom undertones.
We roast every Wednesday and ship every Thursday.
