Notes of pomelo and apple, with brown sugar sweetness.
Origin: Aceh, Sumatra, Indonesia Varietal: Ateng, Bor Bor, Catimor, Timor Process: Washed
Asman Gayo comes from a small mill in Pegasing, Takengon, in Aceh, a famous coffee growing region in Sumatra, Indonesia. The mill serves several small coffee producers in Pantan Musara villages. In 2004, these coffee producers lost their homes and land due to the devastating earthquake and tsunami. Now, they have rebuilt their lives and farms focusing on coffee.
In the cup, Asman Gayo tastes like red currant and apple, with brown sugar sweetness.
