Gracing the character-filled Lt. Collins Street, at the corner of a quintessential Melbourne laneway, BENCH COFFEE CO.’s first flagship espresso bar brings together specialty coffee, seasonal pour overs, and unique in-store creations.
Opening in 2021 and inspired by Maison de Verre – a modernist residence in Paris – the flagship embodies a “small but mighty” ethos, designed to captivate visitors from the very first sip.
With a strong focus on retail, Lt. Collins showcases BENCH COFFEE CO.’s full menu, alongside a curated selection of beans, brewing equipment, and branded merchandise.
The bar features a three-group Kees van der Westen Spirit for its espresso menu, while the brew bar offers batch brew and seasonal pour overs. Exclusive specialty drinks pair beautifully with house-made dacquoise, a signature sweet available only at Lt. Collins.
Supporting the menu are thoughtful additions such as chai by Nektar, Hunted+Gathered chocolate, Cielo sodas, fresh pastries from Little Cardigan Bakery, and BENCH’s own cookies and brownies.
