Notes of mandarin and cherry, with a honey-like sweetness.
Smallholder producers from the Kiama Farmers' Cooperative Society produced this coffee at the Ichuga washing station. The Kiama FCS consists of just over 800 members, whose small farms are situated 1700-1800 metres above sea level, on the foothills of the extinct volcano — Mount Kenya.
The region boasts rich biodiversity, and its characteristic terroir—bright red volcanic soils rich in nutrients, a cool climate, and high elevations—is reflected in the high-quality coffee produced here.
In the cup, this coffee tastes like mandarin and cherry, with a honey-like sweetness.
We roast every Wednesday and ship every Thursday.
