Situated in the Bajawa region on Flores Island, Indonesia, Wajamala Farm is managed by Marselina Walu. The region is renowned for its fertile volcanic soils and high elevations, providing ideal conditions for cultivating high quality coffee.
Marselina is a community leader who has challenged traditional gender roles in the local agricultural sector, playing a pivotal role in promoting women’s participation in coffee farming and leadership through the Kagho Masa Cooperative.
Wajamala Farm primarily grows the Lini S795 variety, also known as Jember, which is well suited to the region’s climate and soil. The farm processes their coffee with fully washed methods.
